All tours and activities are offered through Captain Jak’s. Captain Jak’s is solely responsible for the content and scheduling of activities.
Fares & Prices
All fares and prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received. Prices quoted do not include GST of 12.5%.
Please arrive 15 – 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure. If your departure is from your place of lodging, please be prepared to leave 15 – 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Captain Jak’s cannot be held responsible for tours missed or incomplete due to late arrivals.
Availability of Activities
The activities and services offered are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice.
Dates Not Guaranteed
While Captain Jak’s makes every effort to ensure tours are held on the date requested, a variety of factors may require a change. Circumstances including, but not included to, weather and availability of guides and/or resources may impact the date requested. If the availability of your date changes, Captain Jak’s will contact you as soon as possible and your tour will be rescheduled to a new date. If rescheduling is not an option, you may be offered credit towards another tour or a refund of any deposit paid.
Cancellation by You
Captain Jak’s understands that your plans may change. If you need to modify or cancel your tour, please contact Captain Jak’s as soon as possible. Should you need to cancel or reschedule a tour, Captain Jak’s will first attempt to reschedule your tour to a different day. If that is not an option, Captain Jak’s may offer alternative tours. If you contact Captain Jak’s after the scheduled start of your tour or do not show up for your scheduled tour, no refund is available. If you cancel and do not replace the tour, a refund (less any fees) shall be offered in accordance with this schedule:
- Notification of 30 days or more prior to your scheduled tour date: full refund of any deposit paid
- Notification of 15 days or more prior to your scheduled tour date: refund of deposit paid less 50% fee
- Notification of 7 days or more prior to your scheduled tour date: refund of deposit paid less 75% fee
- Notification of less than 7 days: no refund available
Weather Advisories / Partial Tours
Sometimes weather conditions may make a tour permissible but not advisable. If Captain Jak’s advises that your tour may not be completed due to pending weather, Captain Jak’s will offer to reschedule to another day or suggest an alternative activity. If you elect to begin the tour, no refund or exchange will be made available if the tour is unable to be completed due to weather or conditions of nature.
Cancellation by Captain Jak’s
Captain Jak’s reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure date for any reason including, but not limited to, insufficient number of participants, weather, or unavailability of equipment or guides. If that happens, Captain Jak’s may offer an alternate date or activity of equal value. If you choose not to accept the alternatives, all refunds will be made accordingly and without further obligations. Captain Jak’s shall not be held liability for any contingent costs incurred by you arising from the cancellation. You will receive a refund within 45 days following the scheduled departure date. Captain Jak’s will not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, or costs sustained by you.
